Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress who is most well-known for her part as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter an academic and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actor, director, educator, playwright and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk appeared in several commercials as a child. As of 1997, the actress was awarded an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move to Toronto to pursue her acting career in the month of November 1999. She later, in the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an acting workshop at the time in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009, and were married with a civil ceremony December of the same year. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk converted to Judaism. Silk born a son with the name of Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk is a variety of TV roles, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Her nomination for an award called the Gemini in 2009 for her performance. In 2009 she secured the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant while filming the season finale. In January 2013, she revealed this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for Season Four. On June 20 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was getting ready to go back to work on the show. Her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical on Lost Girl was named one of the most popular Television Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows across social networks.
